X-Man Kitty Pryde has decided to give up the hero life and enroll at the University of Chicago. Unfortunately, she still lives in a world that hates and fears mutants, and college campuses are no exception.
After a physics experiment goes horribly wrong, it's up to Kitty, Karma, and the Genoshan mutant Shola Inkosi to rescue the staff and students.
Anti-mutant sentiment runs high as Kitty and Karma are accosted by the FBI, while fellow mutant Shola Inkosi is attacked by a riotous mob.
While Kitty and Shola seem to be winning over Purity member Tom More, his ties to the anti-mutant group have not been completely severed yet. Also featuring the return of the Sentinels!
